"This is a gift... cough, I mean, I think it’s better if you name it yourself. I mean, this car must’ve cost a fortune." Amelia Johnson quickly waved her hands, trying to dodge the responsibility. She hadn’t named it earlier just to let Damien Taylor do it.
But Damien wouldn’t budge. "What matters most to me is you. It’s my favorite car — having you name it makes it mean even more."
Unable to argue him down, Amelia gave up and said the name she’d been thinking of.
"Shadowlight. What do you think?"
Damien raised an eyebrow, curious. "Is there a story behind it?"
Amelia looked a bit embarrassed and shook her head. "It’s actually from an anime character I like… Her full name is Blackfeather Shadowlight."
