Chapter 4: The Confession

1876 Words
“What? What did you just say?” Sean asked her as she was looking at him, her eyes were holding something in them before she blinked. It was hollow again. He thought that he might have heard it wrong, that Lucia was confessing that she was a murderer. That she killed someone when he was a Ph.D. student just like Lucia. “I killed someone dear to you at that time,” she confessed as she tilted her head to him. Sean blinked his eyes before he was staring at Lucia again. “Who?” He asked her. She scoffed. Sean doesn't want to believe it but the evidence was clear. Lucia was a murderer. “You know who. It’s your lover after all,” she said as she was stoic with that confession. Damn her for being so stoic in this matter, Sean mused before he stared at her. Hard. “I said who?! Tell me?!” He shouted at her as Sean was standing up from the chair. He was breathing hard as all he can see was red. Lucia looked at him through her eyes as she was glaring at Sean. “I thought you can control your anger well, doctor. Well, one can hardly blame you for being emotional right now,” she said before he went to grab her shirt as Sean fisted it in his hands. He cannot be rational now that the truth has come out of the dark. “You listen, b***h. I can make your life living hell as I was the top of the chain right now. I can take away everything at once if you did not do what I wanted you to,” Sean said as he was trying to control the anger as Sean just remembered who was it. His girlfriend at the time as her smiles danced in his head as well as her funeral. And the way that her family blamed him for her death. It was all wrong, it was not me who did it. It was Lucia Ricci and I will make sure she pays for it, Sean mused before Lucia was glaring at him as he was gripping her shirt. “Do your best then. I have nothing to lose after all. The only thing that ever happened to me was that I have the unpleasant surprise to see you again,” she sneered at him before Sean was grabbing her closer. He can feel their hot breaths mingled together. “Then, you fully know that I will do anything to break you, even it was the last thing that I would do,” Sean hissed at Lucia. Then, the crazy villainess laughed. Laughed at his threat. “Do your worst. I can handle it,” she said before Sean released her and she was on the chair again. He raked his fingers through his hair as Sean looked at the glass separator. He was disheveled as he knows if people were staring at him right now, he was a hot mess. Good thing I told them to get out, or rather Lucia did, Sean mused before he took a deep breath before Sean turned to look at Lucia. He has one hour to crack her open. By that, he means for today, at least, Sean has to get some information from her. About the reason why Lucia was doing some ruckus across the continents, she has been after her demise. “Why did you do that in Europe and the States?” Sean asked her as he was calming down and took the notes again. “Do what?” Lucia replied, looking at him with those blue orbs again. Something stirred inside Sean as he tried to shake the feelings away. I thought I have forgotten about her, but it would seem that I am mistaken, Sean mused before he glared at her. “Don’t play dumb, Lucia. You know full well what I was referring to,” He said as he was looking at her. Lucia was tilting her head as she was trying to read him. “I think I might have to question more about this,” Sean said before he cleared his throat. Lucia looked at him, waiting for his question before Sean was taking a deep breath. Then, he looked at her. “Why do you raked havoc in those cities? Rome, Milan, Barcelona, Lisbon, and Seattle, the last city that you went before you were caught,” Sean said as he was looking at her. Lucia was silent as if she was trying to find an answer to his question. “Well, I can say that I was intrigued to do such damage but I will be lying if I don’t seek it out for revenge,” she said as she smirked at him. “Revenge? For whom?” Sean asked as he was not seeing this through. Did she want revenge? For what? Sean mused before Lucia smirked wickedly at him. Then, she shrugged. “Who knows. I was messed up there, remember?” She said as she smirked at him. Sean sighed before he rubbed his face with his hands. “We both know that’s not true,” Sean said as he looked at her. Lucia shrugged before she looked at him again. This time, her weak smile was sincere as she was looking at the floor. “Well, that’s the real question. Why I seek revenge? You should be able to figure it out, right, doc?” Lucia said as she was taunting him. The guard came inside the room as their time was up. Sean did not think that one hour was enough for him to talk with her. I need more hours if I could convince the director for me to be her only psychiatrist right now, Sean mused before the guard was unlocking the handcuffs before Lucia was back to her old self. “See you tomorrow, Dr. Sean,” she said as the guard took her by the chain as she went away from the room. The door closed as Sean was placing the notes on the table. His mind was running as he thinks about the deal that they made.  “Your c**k belongs to me,” Lucia's sweet voice taunted him before Sean felt b***r was coming to him. Damn it! He mused before he was rubbing his dry mouth. Maybe there was another way to get her talking about her past and I will have it no matter what method I have to use, he thought before he was packing his notes before getting out of the room, trying to come with a plan for the information that he needed from Lucia Ricci, the crazy villainess that everyone thinks she was. Only Sean knows her better to be falling for her facade. ***** Lucia was playing with her pen and paper as she was trying to write something to get her mind off. It has been a few hours after her first treatment with Sean and Lucia thinks she has broken him through his own game. She smirked. Yeah, he declared that he was the best psychiatrist in the world but I think I can see right through him, Lucia mused before she leaned back on the chair that she was sitting on.  He was playing a dangerous game and he knows it. I wondered if he still remembers the first time he saw me back in that dungeon. When will he succumb to get the answer from me? Lucia thought before the keys rattled on the door. Then, the guard from earlier was looking at her as Lucia stood up from the chair. Time for dinner, she mused before she smiled at the guard. “Let’s go now. Time to eat,” the guard said as he opened the door of her prison. Lucia sighed before he put the pen down and she went to be handcuffed again by him. They went to the cafeteria as Lucia knows that she can eat on her own now, not by some stupid machine. Thank goodness for this change. If not, I might die of hunger, Lucia mused before she was entering the cafeteria and the warden was trying to control the chaos that was happening in the cafeteria right now. “Order,” the warden was shouting around the room before Lucia went to line up and took a tray to fill her food. They were mashed potatoes and fries. A hamburger and an apple. She went to take a glass of water before she went to take a seat. After Lucia sat down, a bunch of goons was coming at her. She did not notice until a pair of hands were on the table and a rough voice was hitting my eardrums from in front of her. “You were in our table,” the leader said as Lucia looked at her. She had to pierce all over her face; ears, nose, mouth. It did nothing to scare her away. I am more dangerous than she would ever be, Lucia mused before she was putting a fries into her mouth. “Well, I don’t see your name on it,” She said as she was taunting them. They scoffed at her before the leader was leaning closer to her. Lucia can smell her bad breath and the stinky smell that was coming from the leader. She must not be a hygiene freak like me, Lucia thought before the leader sneered at her. “I suggest you run along with your big mouth. Don’t want an accident to happen tonight now, are we?” She said as she was looking at her. Lucia stared into her eyes before she went to look at her goons. They were cracking some fingers and neck. Lucia sighed before she went to eat her fries alone without any interruption. That would not be happening tonight.  She was sick of the people that thought she could be a pushover. Lucia wanted to laugh at that. She might as well show to them what she capable of. Lucia stood up to match the leader's stand before they locked eyes. She smirked before she was leaning forward to her. “I dare you,” Lucia said and that’s when all hell broke loose. The leader was shouting something before she knocked on Lucia's meal. Not cool, she thought before she was moving to hit the leaders. She was still in chains but Lucia still can dodge her attack. It was nothing at all compared to what I have been through, she thought before Lucia dodged the leader's attack. Then, her goons came after her but before Lucia can attack them, someone tripped their legs. “Oops, I guess I wasn’t looking where I put my feet,” she said as her red hair was gleaming under the lights. Lucia saw that the leader was not still out before she used her handcuffs to cut some of her air supplies and Lucia went to choke her until she passed out. “Well, still can use that method, but I prefer if some bones were cracking,” the new girl mused at her before Lucia turned to look at her. She had the biggest emerald eyes she ever seen and her hair was glossy as well. “Thank you,” Lucia said as the new girl waved at her dismissively. “Eh, don’t mention it. Although, I have something to require of you,” she said while smiling. “What is it?” She asked her. “What’s your name?” She asked, “Lucia Ricci but my friends call me Lucy,” “Well, my name is Celine Lebrun. A pleasure to make your acquaintance, mam’selle,” Celine said as she was extending her hands. Lucia smiled. “Likewise,” She said as she was shaking her hand. She was smiling at her and Lucia thinks she just made a friend.
