Lucia slept for the first time after she has been captured and being dragged onto this very mountain. Lucia did now know how she slept soundly last night but it was the fact that she has a bed under her lithe body, maybe that triggered it.
Lucia was yawning when she saw the streaming of lights that coming into the room. It was nice to have a change once in a while. She has been dying to get out and explored but Lucia thinks Sean would never let her go.
Not until he knows that I was better off in here, she mused before she was getting out of the bed.
Lucia went to the bathroom as she stripped down the clothes that they gave her. It was a maroon shirt with a black legging. Lucia knows that it was nice and all but she also thinks they can do better than that.
And all of her clothes were all that maroon shirts and black leggings. They don’t have anything else except for her undergarments which were in her size. Lucia doesn't want to know how they guessed it but she thinks Sean might have influenced them to get them in her size.
Lucia showered before she took another garment of the same color. It was all there and a red sneaker for her to whereas Lucia needs to get out of the room. Sean has been waiting for her, Lucia knows he was as he might be lurking to look at her through the cams.
Some of these days, I will find them and disposed of them, Lucia mused before she was turning the doorknob and stepped outside.
Then, there was a guard coming into the room as he will be escorting her to Sean. Oops, Dr. Sean Copper, the head of the psychiatrist. I wanted to smack his head, Lucia mused as she smiled at the guard.
The guard put back the chains on her as Lucia was a dangerous woman to be lurking around these facilities. Maybe she was, maybe she was not. Who knows when her episodes will come. Lucia has to cure very fast so that she can get out of this stupid center.
The guard held the chains before they were walking down the long hallways. Lucia was looking at the nameplates that were plastered to the doors. She sighed before they stopped in front of the room that stated that 'Head of Psychiatrist, Dr. Sean Spencer Copper'. Lucia snickered when she read the middle name.
Who would have thought that his middle name was Spencer, Lucia mused before the guard was opening the door for her. Lucia nodded at the guard before she was looking at the room. It was nothing much, just some chairs and a desk where Sean was staring at notes with his hardened grey eyes.
My notes, no doubt, she thought.
Stepping into the office that Sean was sitting, Lucia saw that he was waiting for her when he was reading his notes, or rather Lucia's medical statements from the moment that she has been sent to the mental hospital. No thanks to my dear old brother, Lucia scoffed at the thought. Sean looked up from the notes before he smiled at her. Lucia narrowed her eyes at the doctor.
“Ah, you’re here. Come, have a seat,” Sean said as he stood up and the guard was guiding her toward the seat. Lucia took it and she looked at him as the guard was securing her to the table with her handcuffs.
“That would be all, thank you,” Sean said before he dismissed the guard. Lucia looked at him as he was sitting back into his chair and he was pulling a new note to write the first day of her treatment with him.
“So,” he started as he was looking at her. Lucia stared at him as she kept her face stoic because she knows people were learning from his techniques right now. Because Lucia was once like Sean.
“I want them gone,” Lucia said as she was keeping her voice calm and cool. She did not want the other doctors to be alarmed.
“Excuse me?” He asked me as he turned to look at me from his note. His grey eyes were saying a thousand emotions. Happiness, excitement, and guilt? Huh? Lucia never knew he would be feeling that.
“You know what I mean. I wanted them gone, Sean or I might not be cooperative with you today,” She said as Lucia was looking at the glass that was separating the room full of people.
“I can’t,” he replied before she scoffed at him.
“You know damn well you can because this is your time. If you wish to dismiss them, they have to oblige,” Lucia said as she was gritting her teeth. This moment was for her alone with Sean. Lucia knows he did not feel the same way because he will be reading her like she was a nut case to him.
But the feelings that she had been buried inside her have resurfaced and Lucia wanted to share it.
To him. To Sean.
He sighed before he looked at the glass panel before he nodded at something or perhaps someone.
“Very well,” he said as he was looking back at her. Lucia smiled at him for the first time in her life after that accident.
Perhaps the treatment was working already. She might as well stay with Sean for another week and everything will be back to normal.
“Thank you for your understanding. Now, shall we begin, doc?” Lucia said as she was leaning back in her chair as her eyes twinkled with mischief.
*****
“So, when was the first time that you ever experienced this episode of yours? Is it recently or many years ago?” Sean asked her as she was eyeing him. She smirked as she was moving to lean closer to him. Sean gulped as his heartbeat was beating so fast right now.
Her seductive smile.
Her alluring perfume.
Her mischievous eyes.
I think I am in trouble now, Sean said as Lucia was tilting her head to the side.
“Well, I must say that it was at the beginning of my unemployment,” she said as she was looking at him. She smiled wickedly but Sean knows that she was trying to be brave.
“Tell me more about it,” Sean said as he was clicking his pen and ready to write some stuff about his patient today.
“Are we going to pretend that you were never there, doctor?” She asked him as she arched her eyebrow. Sean gulped as he knows exactly what happened on that day.
“Do you need me to relive the story?” She asked as she was taunting him. Sean arched his eyebrow at her before he sighed.
“No, I will put it down on that day that you were not quite yourself,” he said before Lucia arched her eyebrow.
“Are you sure? You might miss some important details about it if you just see it from your point of view,” she said as she was looking at him. Sean knocked his eyebrows together.
“What do you mean?” He asked her. Lucia smiled.
“Well, you see from your point of view. You never know what’s on my point of view, right?” She asked him as she was smiling again. Damn this vixen! She knows how to get under my skin, Sean mused before he was calming himself down by counting one to ten.
In French.
Un, Deux, Trois...
“Then, why don’t you share it with us and see if we can work it from there,” He said as he was trying to make sure that she will tell everything to him.
“Do you want to?” Lucia asked as Sean stared at her.
“About what?” He asked her as he was writing in the notes to record it.
“Know all my secrets and story?” She asked. Sean was baffled as he doesn't know how to answer it. Maybe I don’t but the temptation of knowing it was more than I can say right now, he mused before Sean was looking at his patient without revealing any emotions on his face.
“Please enlighten me with your story,” He said uninterestedly. Lucia eyed him for a while before she sighed.
“Well, it all begins when we were working on that project of mine, the one that involved with the drug that I created,” she said as she looked away as if she was sucked into that memory. Sean wrote it down as he was listening to her story.
“I was on the verge of success and before I can test it out on anyone else, I put it on myself,” she said as she looked at him. She was staring at Sean, her caramel eyes were holding so much depth to them. He cleared his throat before Lucia was turning away from staring at his face.
Maybe I was not the only one that was affected by this reunion, Sean mused before he leaned forward toward her, toward his long lost partner.
“And then? What happened?” Sean asked as Lucia chuckled lowly. His c**k stirred before she sighed.
“Well, it did not end well. I was having so many allergies and reactions to the drug that I think it would not work. For the first few days, I was in bed, sick, and cannot move a muscle. If I did, it was as if I was being burned alive,” she said as Sean wrote it down before he stopped. Should I write it down, her most intimate thoughts? Sean thought before he decided not to. So he put his pen down before Sean looked at her.
“Then, it happened. After being bedridden for so long, I was excited to go outside. I was excited to see you and you’re winning the award that night. But when I went there,” Lucia said as she gulped. She was nervous to tell him something about that night.
“I don’t see you there,” Sean said as he was remembering he did not talk to her at all that night. He was busy connecting with people and build his network. Lucia sighed.
“That’s because I went away afterward,” she whispered.
“After what?” The curiosity in him was strong that Sean has to know what Lucia did that night. She stared at him before she said, “After I killed your girlfriend,”
