The witches explained that because Nancy was the one to enchant her hair in the first place, the enchanting of a hair pin to seal away the hair's draining effects worked. The pin was one from Nora's infancy, passed down through the maternal line. It was a simple golden, with a crystal flower on the end. It was slipped on, pinning the right side of Nora's now long river of locks behind her ear. The Daughters of Elysium had spent all night braiding it, keeping it up and out of her face. He held that face in his hands, wiping away an errant tear with his thumb.
