Even though every muscle in my body hurt, I couldn’t fall asleep. I tossed and turned in bed for hours until I gave up. Mumbling some nonsense about needing to rest, I shot up from bed and put on a heavy jacket over my pajamas, beanie, gloves, and boots with fleece interior.
