Chapter Three Joey “Sorry, guys, you can"t get rid of me that easily.” Nobody answers. All four brothers just stare at me like I have two heads. I drop my suitcases, trying my hardest to hold my s**t together and not go off on them. I can"t stop myself from glaring, though. Did they really think I"d turn tail and run away just like that? Not that part of me doesn"t want to run screaming across their perfectly manicured lawns. I haven"t even been here an hour and already I know I want nothing to do with the overly confident, cocky Holt or his arrogant, entitled brothers. This whole thing is not my scene. And I’m obviously not one of the plastic surgically enhanced Barbies these guys are most likely used to. I’ve got more brains than bra-cup and I’m guessing they feel threatened by that
