Chapter Ten Joey This long and trying day is finally over, thank God. I feel infinitely better after a shower and nap. While the vibe in the house is still super uncomfortable, I can at least take a break from it by going out for dinner. I jog downstairs, feeling cute in my camisole and one nice skirt, admiring the spotless house with the satisfaction of a job well done. As I pass the dining room, I hear talking and utensils clinking against plates; the whole Easton family is already at the table.
