“The egg is unexpected.” Eira paced the floor. “I expected the great wyrm to be our adversary, slow and sluggish from its imprisonment. But if its offspring has been free for some time, it’s used to the world and even more dangerous for it.”
“They must be hiding it at the manor. Until it’s grown enough.” Edison fought to keep his rising panic at bay. “They have Bleddyn, too. What can we do? How do we deal with this?”
