Chapter 33Edison woke well before dawn and stared at the ceiling. It was too dark to consider moving and he also knew he needed as much rest as possible. But when a glistening light suddenly illuminated the room, he got out of bed to stare at his crystal ball. It glowed with an ethereal light and Edison watched as two dragons did battle. A wolf joined the fray, but it was struck by one of the dragons and Edison fought down a cry as it lay motionless. The second dragon attacked its rival, sending it tumbling into an abyss.
