It had already been two weeks since the anniversary, after the great celebration I had, I had decided to take a couple of weeks off, my mansion had everything to be happy, a big garden, a spa area, and a beautiful pool.

"Money isn't everything Mrs. Katherine, besides I guess when you get divorced everyone will get what belongs to them" his words were ringing in my ears, that was true, but I had an obsession for the perfect life, because in front of society, my marriage was perfect, even if behind closed doors, everything was a sham, one that my husband and I knew how to sustain very well.

On the way there was an awkward silence, one, that even Jeremy didn't throw me a single glance in the rear-view mirror, when we arrived at the company, the partners were gathered.

We were greeted and one of the secretaries put a folder at each station, when it came to my company and money, she was a professional woman, I began to review each report.

"It's unbelievable, there is a huge embezzlement of money, where is the money?" I said impressed.

"we all want to know the same thing honey" George turned to me, looking at me accusingly, dammit!
