Katherine's point of view
Ignoring George, the night before had made me feel like a new and renewed woman, he was thinking that he could manipulate me as he pleased and everything would go on as if nothing, he was so wrong, this was now just becoming a power game, where only one winner would come out, and that would be me.
I dressed up the best I could to go back to the office, I put on a dark dress too tight to my body, I let my hair fall in waves over my shoulders, I lined my eyes and painted my lips a passion pink.
When I left the mansion, George had already left and that gave me relief, I would not have to share a car with him, the day was beautiful to take a cab, but Jeremy was waiting for me.
