KATHERINE POV Days had started to blur. Not in a dreamy, floaty, romantic way — no. More like in a suffocating, over-scheduled, Luna-prep chaos kind of way. Ever since Luna Amber had arrived, peace had become a strange dream. I was relieved to see her each day — she saved me from her overbearing sons — but I hadn’t expected there would be so many things to do. She barged into the Alpha suite every morning just after breakfast, usually while I was still in pajamas and halfway through my second cup of tea, and didn’t leave until I was ready to collapse face-first into a pillow.
