A warm, deep voice tugged me gently out of the haze of sleep.
“We’re landing, kitten. Must buckle up.”
My lashes fluttered open, the world still blurry, my mind still clinging to dreams. Kyle’s face came into focus first — the soft smile curving his lips, the affection in his turquoise eyes. He was crouched beside the bed, his hand brushing lightly over my arm. My heart did that ridiculous skip it always did when I woke to one of them watching me like I was something precious.
Before I could even process, Keegan’s strong arms slid under me, lifting me as if I weighed nothing at all.
“Morning, sleepyhead,” he murmured, his breath warm against my temple.
