KEEGAN POV They say rage blinds you. Whoever said that never fought with a brother on each flank and their mate’s scent still warm in their lungs. Because this? This wasn’t blind. This was focus. Precision. Fury carved into bone and laced with purpose. Midnight roared out of me in a flash of black fur and death, my wolf faster than thought, already lunging before the first mercenary’s finger tightened around the trigger. Bang.
