Reaching the top of the courthouse steps, Marshall brusquely entered, finding, much to his surprise, his client, Sherilyn Ross, waiting for him. This was certainly a first; this sassy-assed, sassy mouthed woman was the worst affliction he’d had in some months. Of course she was very pretty, her curvaceous body always smartly dressed in some bold-colored outfit. Her red hair almost glowed, especially with the unkempt way she fixed it, as though she was a walking advertisement for recklessness. There was a dash of freckles across her nose and a pair of green eyes that sparkled happily. It took at lot to intimidate this woman, and that had been part of Marshall’s task.
