Chapter seven

629 Words
Amelia's POV Shit, how did I fall? I stare up and see my mother in front of me. Looking like she's about to slap the s**t out of me. f**k. What do I do? "Amelia, are you alright?" Lu's voice calls from behind. "Yeah" I answered back and quickly got out of the glass, which wasn't a very smart idea. Bloody hell my knees sting like a b***h. Thank god I don't need to see my parents tonight, I think I have finally decided that after all these years I might as well move out, my own mother shattered the glass and threw me on it. What a b***h. It's not fair that the only time I go out is at night is to work and then this happens. It happened in a flash at one point she was staring at me the next she pushes me. What is her problem? If she didn't want me then why did she have me for god sake? I stand up and go and get the broom to clean the mess up. That when I hear him. " Don't worry about the glass Amelia, go and fix yourself, I don't want you looking like that in my restaurant" Mr Rodriguez says. Thank god I don't have to serve the bastard. When I get to the back and Angela sees me she decides its best if I go home as I need to take care of the blood on my hands and legs and that I can come back tomorrow. Thank god I haven't got sacked yet. Gotta love the boss. I say bye to Lucy and head out saying that I will see her in the morning as I'll be bringing my stuff from my house. I says this as loud as I can so that my mother and father hear. I've had it with them both, my father didn't even say anything nor did Mr Rodriguez, well except from saying that I need to clean up d**k. When I get home I cannot wait for a nice long bath and some good food. I know that I'm moving to Lucy's house but that will wait till tomorrow. Now all I need is home and bed and to funking move out from them, am 19 for crying out loud. I get into the bus and head home, thank goodness the restaurant isn't in a bad part of town, although I love this place and would love to live near. I don't. My parents live in a house outside of town so going there without a car is horrid you need to walk there and here to get anywhere. Not that I mind. It takes me 30 minutes to get home or whatever it really is. Considering that maybe just maybe Lucy gets off quick I might as well just pack my stuff and move to hers tonight. That's a plan. I text Lucy and find out that she will be later than I thought but there is a spare key under the mat so I can go in and get comfy. So It's decide today is the day I move out and never look back. I go upstairs to pack my stuff, not that there is much. I take what I need and start heading out back to the bus, I though It would take me longer to pack but considering the little amount of things I own am glad it took so little time. Think the bus won't be long I wait hoping I made it for the last bus at least into town. There is something going that is nagging me though why would Rodriguez be so different towards me? What did my parents do? Will I ever find out?
