GODFREY'S POV.
The king moved closer to me, his hands reaching to the path of the bushes. I looked around for a way to escape but I couldn't see any way, I just had to wait for my fate…death.
Suddenly a rat ran out of the bushes, the king moved back in shock, and the girl screamed as the rat ran towards her.
The king quickly rushed to her, catching the rat and using his strength to snap the rat into two parts.
“Please, let's get out of here,” the girl pleaded.
The king quickly zipped up and ushered her out, I let out a sigh of relief as I watched them go out of the garden.
I couldn't believe what I had just witnessed, the king was having an affair with a servant and he was planning on taking down the queen.
