“Where have you been?” Joana questioned as soon as I walked in. “Do you think that the queen is a joke?”
I bowed my head, if she only knew what happened in the hallway maybe
she would see me as the victim.
*Where were you?” She questioned again. “The queen asked you to always give your report every night, this wasn't the time she asked you to.”
What is Beta Nathan up to? Why did he ask me to see me in his office tomorrow? Should I inform the queen? No that is a bad idea, I don't know why Beta Nathan hates me so much but telling the queen would only make matters worse, I should sort this out myself.
