“It’s going alright, kind of nice because it’s slow to start,” he told her, “the swearing-in ceremony was pretty cool, but I’ve mainly been spending time trying to get all my bills together and introduced before the end of the introduction deadline.” Jane had her elbow on the table and her face resting in her hand as she watched him speak. “I’m sure things are about to get a lot more busy for you, though,” she said, “hope you have enough time to get back and go on a few dates with little ol’ me.” He smiled at her, then leaned towards her and put his arm around her, squeezing him close to her. “Of course.
