**CAROLINA'S POV**
It felt good to be rich. My mother didn't try to make a mockery of me again. She even added enough fish for me during lunch.
Violet pouted, watching the recent change in our mother's behaviour. However, my father was obviously aware of why my mother was acting sweet with me.
It made me believe the proverb, "When there's money, there is love."
Before, Mom refused to let me eat her food, and the whole house was chaotic. Now that I had given her two million, she even asked me, "Caro, my first daughter, is the meal enough?"
