"Don't you do the exact same thing? Touch me with the wrong intentions and use me to get what you want?" I questioned and instantly regretted going too far.
"Except me, doll face," he muttered under his breath, and I decided to shut myself. Wasn't really a good idea to piss him off.
"Why? Why are you willing to protect me in the first place then? I thought you hated me?" I asked softly, and I watched him fixate his gaze on my eyes, causing goosebumps to rise all over my body.
There was something about the way he was looking at me now that was just so much more different. Why? What was so different? What changed?
"Guess there is no harm in telling you," he finally said, his eyes flickering onto my lips for a few seconds, and I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion
