Chapter 13: my amazing mate

-KADE'S POV-

I slap Matt on the back as we walk into the kitchen, nodding sharply at him. I get it- it's bound to be difficult watching you're little sister meet her mate but I reassured him I wouldn't hurt her and we came to civil terms. Jasmine's beautiful hair catches my attention and I walk over, squeezing her to my side as I sit down. My God she's beautiful. I'm telling you if one more person interrupts us I'm going to snap and tear a room apart.

As we eat, I realise how close she's gotten to everyone in just a week. I can tell how much Ben, Jake and Freya like her and I mean how could you not? She just has this kind aura around her and she has the whole table in stitches. I can already tell she's going to be the most amazing luna, she's a natural leader. Dex growls in agreement.

I smirk as she helps herself to seconds and she shrugs at me. "You really do like your food, huh" I chuckle teasing her. 

"Duh, have you seen these thighs?" I glance down and can't look away. Yes. Yes, I have seen those thighs and I want nothing more then them to be wrapped around me as I slide into her-

Jasmine jerks my chin up so our eyes meet as a growl sounds from across the table. Matt. I see her eyes glaze over as she mindlinks her brother. When they clear up, I notice Ben is glaring at me but he doesn't act on it. My Goddess this women is remarkable.

We end up having thirds and pudding, laughing the whole time. Jasmine pats her stomach in contentment and sighs happily, leaning against my shoulder.

"How about cards?" Freya beams.

-JASMINE POV- 

Kade guides me to the common room by the hand and plonks down onto the sofa next to Ben. I move to sit in between them but yelp as I'm pulled down onto his lap instead. I smirk at him as he snakes his hands round my waist and kisses my shoulder. Those darned sparks will be the death of me.

We play a couple of rounds of shithead and I practically pounce on Ben as he makes me lose AGAIN. Benny boy may be an absolute goofball but damn the boy can play cards. I settle back on Kade's lap, shuffling to get comfy before a pair of strong hands grip my hips tightly.

"Baby if you don't stop that I'm going to have to take you upstairs and take you right now" He growls in my ear and I blush furiously realising I've been grinding against him. I bite my lip looking back at him and kiss his cheek when I see his lust filled eyes. 

We play a few more rounds and I can't help but feel overjoyed as I look around the room. I love these people and the God who's lap I'm sitting on is certainly a welcome addition. Too soon I'm lifted up off Kade as he stands up and the boys follow. 

"Sorry ladies, pack business." I frown not letting go of his hand. He leans down to me and kisses my forehead and leaves with the rest of them and I can't help but miss his touch. My God what have I become.

It's then that Milly, one of the warriors mates bounces up and runs out the room, emerging with an armful of snacks. It's at that point that I fall in love with her. We all huddle on the floor, having set up a little nest of pillows and blankets and we spend the evening stuffing our faces and chatting about all sorts before we decide It's time for bed and shuffle out sleepily. 

I do my night routine and sigh happily at the mirror, my toothbrush hanging out my mouth. This week has been so ridiculously crazy but it's also been the best of my life. I don't know what is in store for me, but for now I am happy.

With that in mind I slip off into the happy and deep sleep, dreaming of my delicious mate.
