I groaned as the sunlight flooded my room while my hands pulled the covers over my head. Suddenly, a loud thud shook the room and the bed covers were snatched away from me, causing goosebumps to mushroom across my body as the cold air jolted me awake. To my horror, a pair of glowing amber eyes glared back at me and all thoughts of sleep disappeared.
“You b***h!”
Hands wrapped around my ankles in a vice like grip even as I tried to kick my way to freedom in vain. Pain shot up my leg from my bad ankle but the adrenaline rushing through my body focused all of my attention on the furious man dragging me out of bed by my ankles.
“Let me go!” I screamed as fiercely as I could as I tried to roll to my side to get out of his grip.
