He Won't See The Fear In Me

Lily's point of view

I couldn't believe what my eyes were seeing, oh my gosh what have I done?! I thought I didn't bother to give whoever owned the picture anymore, I just threw it away and worked hastily into the room that was given to omegas like me to have a resting place in the hall, I shut the door with fear in my heart, I felt like I could explode in fright at any minute, I took deep breaths trying to calm myself down.

"Lily, are you alright?" I heard the voice of my best friend Naya, she was also in the room sitting on the couch, she is the only friend that I can say that I have "Oh my god Naya, what have I done?"I cried

She quickly rushed to me as she noticed my state "What is it?" She enquired

I thought of all the things I did to Alpha Tyler, the insults, the kick I gave him "he's going to kill me and my family" I said to Naya

"Who?" Naya inquired

"Alpha Tyler" I answered

"why would he want to kill?" she asked

" I insulted him, I kicked him and I tried so much to hit him, I did so many things to him, he almost even killed me but I did not stop there" I cried to her " I have heard of the stories of how he wiped out an entire family just because they upset him, I did more than that I would have been dead by now, if not for a helper, what am I going to do? he is going to kill me, kill Ma'am Rita and her daughter Rihanna, he's also going to kill you, he might even cause a war between his pack and our pack just because of what I've done to him" I cried "if only he had killed me then, I am not as scared of death as other people, apart from ma'am Rita I don't really have people to try and survive for, but all the deaths of my love ones that was what I am very scared of"

"Hush dear, do not say that, what will I do if you are not in this pack with me, if you do not think of anybody think of me" she frowns

I just kept crying

"I don't know why you think he will harm you in any way or harm your loved ones"Naya added " Alpha Tyler cannot harm someone that he doesn't know or see again"

"But.." I tried to explain to her

She cut me off "There are a lot of ladies like you in this pack and his pack, why do you think he will be able to find you or see you to punish you and your family, all you have to do is to stay away from him and besides, Liam will protect you and your family, he is your mate after all"

More tears began to pour as I heard that word "no" I said to her "Liam is no longer my mate"

"What do you mean by that" I cried more as she asked that question "he confessed to me in the presence of Ricky that it was all but a plan between him and Ricky to mess with my feelings and to see me broken, he never loved me Naya" I cried "he broke the bond with me after he explain that he was never in love with me"

Naya listened in shock "Oh my gosh, did all of this happen today?" she asked

I nodded

" You need to sit down, You went through a lot today, just leave your duties for today, I will take over it, do not be worried about Alpha Tyler he cannot find you in the Pack full of females"

I did as Naya advised, I sat down on the couch and rested my head

I have really gone through a lot today and needed to rest, I shut my eyes a little bit in anticipation of sleep, I heard Naya's footsteps as she walked out of the resting room, she has really been a help to me from the day I was assigned to this area, She is an Omega just like me but with a slight difference in strength

I couldn't sleep to any extent, I was being wakened up by the beta that controls this aspect of the pack

"Get your ass up now! we need all the help we can get" she yelled at me I quickly still up "Do you know the magnitude of werewolves that are in our pack? You are supposed to be helping out in any way you can" she scolded

I quickly apologized, and she handed me a list "Take care of everything that concerns Alpha Tyler" she said to me

At first, I didn't quite comprehend the magnitude of what she had just said

I am assigned to Alpha Tyler I panicked, and my wolf advised that I pretend that I don't know him, I agreed with her

After taking all the things I needed to give him, I went to the part of the pack that was given to him to stay, when I walked into his room, he was busy with some papers

I thanked my goddess that he didn't notice me but I thanked her too soon

The moment I dropped the cup of tea and all the things he wanted on the table, he looked at me "You!"He growl

I just stood still pretending not to understand the reason he said 'you!'

"you have the guts to still appear before me even after everything," he said

"Alpha Tyler please I don't understand what you mean" I acted like this was our first time meeting

He scoffs "So this is your new way? Do you want to act oblivious? Fine let's see how long you will last doing that"

He stood up from where he was sitting and walked closely to me "Do you really think you can play this game of pretense" He hovered around me

With every step he took, my breath hitched... Although I tried to appear strong-willed, I was shaking in fear.

He stared at me and I did the same, none of us was ready to stare away first, so I looked at him with feigned boldness.

I won't let him see the fear in me.
