[12] Bitter endings & New beginnings

*Annie's POV*

Not all men are same. Jin proved that today..

I could have never imagined a date like this with Zack. He made me miserable..

Jin, on the other hand, seemed so different. The way he wiped my tears & kissed my eyes...the way he held me close... everything about this guy was so warm...so comforting...

I knew it was time for him to leave.. but I didn't want this day to end.

I don't want him to go yet. I wanna see that bright smile a bit longer.. I want to know more about him...

I didn't wanna let go of the warmth I was feeling, so I ended up inviting him for coffee..

I was anxious, 'What if he denies?'

But he agreed at once..

I felt relief washing over me..

"Come on in.. don't hesitate", I said understanding his nervousness...

"How do you like your coffee? With milk or without?"

"With, please."

"Okay!!! Have a seat. I'll make some for both of us."

I walked into the kitchen to make some coffee for both of us..

"Mmhmmm...mmm...mm..." I hummed while making coffee...

Why wouldn't I?

I was happy. Jin made me happy today...

He's so different than Zack..

I was such a fool when I fell in love with him. He repeatedly cheated on me & I was stupid enough to believe his every lie..

All my friends warned me but I was adamant !

He's the one for me~ I thought ! ?

I believed him everytime he made stories about why he didn't pick up my call or why was he out with some other girl or why didn't he take me to the parties he went with his friends...

I believed him, until....

*Flashback starts*

Zack had the flu..

He didn't come to college for the past 1week. I kept calling him but he hardly responded.. I was worried sick..

So I decided to drop by his house with some porridge & vegetable soup..

'That'll give my baby some strength', I thought...

That night, I went to his apartment..

"Yeah baby.. just like that" I heard his voice.

"Unghh Zack", I heard a woman moaning..

My world came crashing down..

For a moment, I stood there dumbfounded, 'Who is it?'

I knocked the door & everything went silent..

"Open the door Zack! Who's in there with you?? Open the damn door right now"

I stood there but nobody opened the door...

"I'm not leaving Zack. Not until you open up", I sat down at his door step..

I didn't know how much time passed by but when I woke up, I found his door locked.

I was fuming with anger.

'This is it Zack! You cannot fool me this time.. I've had enough!'

I was late for the Dean's class, so I straight went to the college..rushed to the lavatory, washed my face & entered the class..

"What's the time Ms.Williams?"

"I'm sorry sir"

"I'll excuse you for once since this is the first time. From next time, if you're late don't enter my class. Don't dream of being a surgeon if you can't be punctual"

"Sorry sir", I bowed my head & sat in the last bench..

"...Getting back to the lecture, as I was saying... in such cases we perform modified radical lymph node dissection...."

But I was lost in my thoughts again. Today's class was not going to be fruitful..I understood that for sure...

As soon as the class ended, I rushed to the caféteria to fill my empty stomach..

While I was eating, I saw Zack walking with a girl, his hands on her lower back..

My blood boiled with anger..

I walked straight upto him,"What the hell Zack??? What were you doing last night? Was she in there with you??"

I was furious. On the contrary, he was calm. He flashed me a smile saying, "Hey babe! You look so dull today, what happened?"

"Don't you dare act innocent, Zack! I heard...."

"Shh...shh... calm down babe.. did you miss my d**k so much? Last night it was busy doing some work. Tonight it might be free for you... your p*ssy is way tighter than the one I had last night anyway!"

I slapped him tightly across his cheeks,"HOW DARE YOU??? Go to hell Zack! Peter was right about you.. you ARE A JUNK"

That was the beginning of my dreadful days...

Zack made my life a living hell..

I went into the living room with a cup of milk coffee for him & a black for me..

"Here, your coffee"

"Thanks.... you okay?"

"Yeah..why?"

"You look....uh..nevermind. You have a beautiful house"

"Thanks... "

I was waiting for him to take a sip of the coffee cause I don't know how I made it while thinking about that a*sh*le!

"Mmm...smell! The aroma is..mmm"

'Woah! Wasn't expecting that!?'

How can this guy be so hot & so cute at the same time?!

"You like it?", I asked him smiling..

"I love it! Do you have some whipped cream?"

"Yes, I guess."

"Can you add some?"

"Gimme your cup...I'll add some & bring"

I went to the kitchen to add some whipped cream to his coffee..

"Here's your coffee with some whipped cream. Also, I sprinkled some chocolate shavings on top of the cream"

"You're an angel Annie!....mmmhmmmm...It's delicious"

He's such a kid.. he got the cream smeared on his lips..

"You've got some cream on you lips", I giggled..

"Here?", he asked trying to point out.

"Yeah..there's more...wait lemme do it for you"

I took a piece of tissue paper and started wiping the cream off his lips..

'Okay...so...he has some plump lips!', I couldn't help noticing them..

I lightly touched his lips with my thumb...I could feel him tense up under my touch..

I looked up at him to only find him already looking at me..

I lined his lower lip with my thumb & he held my hand all of a sudden saying,

"Don't Annie!"

"Why?", I asked almost whispering..

"Cause I wanna kiss you right now & I don't want you to think I'm taking adv.....mmph"

I smashed my lips against his, before he could complete whatever he was about to say...

I pulled him closer by the collar of his shirt & kissed him deeper..

I asked for entrance to his mouth but he pulled himself away, looking into my eyes...

'I don't know what came over me, I guess he doesn't want to...', I looked down biting on my lip..

He pulled me closer by one hand on my neck & the other on my hips, making me sit on his lap...

Before I could react he smashed my lips with his soft plump lips...

I held him close & deepened the kiss..this time he let my tongue enter his mouth..

We kept kissing & biting each other's lips like two hungry beasts...

I broke the kiss & started licking the nape of his neck, leaving sloppy kisses all the way...

"Uhh..Annie", he grabbed my ass & pulled me closer...

I could feel his hard on...which turned me on even more..

I started biting his neck, when I felt his member twitch under me.

"That's it", he said picking me up, taking me to the wall near the window..

He pinned me against the glass, trailing wet kisses along my neck..

He started biting & leaving red marks here & there..

We were both hot & hungry for each other from all the kisses, when all of a sudden, Jin slid his tongue inside my nostril while giving sloppy kisses..

We both went silent & then burst out laughing the next moment..

"Ewww! You just put your tongue inside my nostril"

"...Um..uh... sorry", he said scartching his neck..

I could tell he was all red & embarassed at what just happened between us... I won't lie, I guess even I was..

To get rid of the awkwardness, I held his hand, pulling him towards the couch, "Finish your coffee, it must be cold & bland by now"

"I like cold coffee", he said grinning..

"What are you grinning for?"

"Nothing", he said blushing..

*ring ring, phone rings*

"Oh sorry, can I take this?"

"Sure"

*on the phone*

Jin: Yeoboseyo?

Manager: Eo-di i-sseo-yo?

Jin: uh...chinguui jib

Manager: Come back soon. It's late.

Jin: Arasseo..

*call disconnected*

I saw him sigh after he disconnected the call..

"Everything okay?", I asked..

"Yeah.. Namjoon is stuck with some work & he needs my help..so, he was asking when will I return"

"Well then you should go when your friend needs you"

"Yeah, I know.. but I wish I could stay a bit longer", he said pulling me close, kissing my lips..

I kissed him back..

We broke the kiss & rested our foreheads against each other..

He broke the silence asking," Will you go on a second date with me?"

I couldn't help smile at how cute he looked right now..

"I'd love to..."

After staying like that for a while, we stood up hand in hand, walking towards the main door..

'Why do I feel so connected with him?'

I knew it was time for him to go, but I couldn't let go of his hands..

He, as if reading the situation, turned towards me, cupping my cheeks & placed a kiss on my forehead..

"Don't cry ever again.. I like this smile on you... "

"Mmhmm.. I'm a strong woman you know?", I felt my heart warming up..

"I know... "

"Text me when you reach home... oh! By the way, aren't you staying at Chang's?"

"Nah! Namjoon & I didn't wanna be a burden on Grandpa & Grandma, so we're staying at a hotel"

"Okay! So text me when you reach there.."

"I will..."

"Um..."

".....do you have duty tomorrow?"

"Yep...why?"

"Nothing...just like that...."

"Mm... ok..."

"See you?"

"Mhmm", I nodded..

"Bye"

"..bye.."

I watched him get into his car & wave at me one last time before driving away..

As I closed the door, tiredness hit me real hard...

I felt drained off of energy..

I sluggishly dragged my feet to the washroom, quickly took a shower & slipped inside my bed in my tank top & pantie..

I started picturing the entire day & soon exhaustion took over me & I fell into deep slumber...

*Peter's POV*

'It's been a long time...why isn't he leaving yet?'

I paced up my room from one corner to the other..

'She totally forgot about me & our plan, huh?'

I was suddenly distracted by two silhouettes against Annie's window visible from my room..

'Is that.....?'

I saw them kissing!

'They ARE KISSING! They are.... No! I can't see this anymore...'

I closed the curtains & plopped down on the couch...

"My heart aches...so much... why?...why me?", I asked myself, as a tear drop escaped my eyes falling on my knees...
