*Leonora* I felt a tear drop and I rushed to wipe it off my face. I didn’t want him to know how his words hurt me. It felt like a knife was stuck in my chest. Bethany was right. She was right all along. I should have just accepted his rejection. Then I wouldn’t have to hear him say these vile things to me.
