The door opened and the council members filter into the room with Claire hot on her heels. I waited to see Jax but he wasn't here. It was just me seated at the head of the table. It felt like I was called in for some grilling of some kind and I felt bothered. Why was I the only one summoned?
They all sat down and began whispering between themselves while I watched. I wish I had my phone and I wished Jax and I exchanged numbers so that I could text and tell him to come over.
I guess I've been used to just living without a mobile device that it made it easier for me to just leave it with Bethany everyday.
