I hated being in the staff quarters. I hated the staring and the whispering whenever I passed. It was getting to a point where I had to restrict myself to my bed only and it was just the first day of this week long break. It was also hellish because we weren’t working- only the mansion staff and some guards. Jax had also given orders that Bethany and I should be exempted from working in the mansion.
I know this was just his way of getting into my good books but he would have to turn the world upside down before I would let him have his way.
I was counting down the time until I had to go to Jax’s room. At least when I’m there, I wouldn’t have to bother about the side talks, stares and nasty comments. I would just sleep or maybe I would ask to watch a movie. I would definitely
