As badly as Goliath and I wanted to take her in the shower, we didn't. Symone's body has been through a lot within these last several hours, and I don't want to make her anymore sore than I am sure she already is.
We simply hold our Luna close to our naked body. I can feel her relax into me as I lather soap all over her body. She seems so at ease when I touch her. It makes me feel good to know that I can calm her this way.
After we get cleaned up and dressed, we decide to go shopping together. We manage to pull Eli from his grandmother's arms and take him to the truck to head to the nearby department store. We spend a few hours buying the things we need for our newborn.
