THIRD PERSON POV
Covington and Samuel started their day by visiting the fortune-teller. Samuel gets suspicious about his sister as she wasn't in her room last night. Unfortunately, the friends didn't know about the fortune-teller's dead and going to visit him. On their way to his place, they let Alexia join them as she insisted on joining them. Bethany decided to join them as well because she had other plans. The three of them started their day not knowing what the day has prepared for them.
SAMUEL POV
We arrived at the fortune-teller's house. Before we enter, the men outside the house restricted us from getting in. Covi came forward and asked one of them, "what's going on in there?" The man with long brown hair replied, "the owner of the house is no more. If you need to meet a fortune-teller, go to the end of this neighborhood. There is another one." Alexia came forward and asked, "what happened to him? He was fine yesterday. How did he die?" Another man answered, "yesterday night, he went alone to the other side of the mountain. We heard that he received rubies from one of the customers yesterday. The rubies were found bloody on his hand. The rubies are rare and, he went there to exchange them. Unfortunately, someone killed him." "Why do you say so?" I asked him. "We have found traces of someone choked his neck. There are also traces of struggles. He might get injured while defending himself. Also, there were stabbing traces found on his chest and stomach area. No suspects for now as this man has no enemy. We need to find who gave him the rubies. Then, we might find the reason why he died." the man explained to us in detail. We started to move from there as we had nothing to do there. Alexia's face showed she was shocked and disappointed at the same time about the man's death. "Hey, Lex, is everything okay with you? You look frustrated." I asked her and, she stopped in her tracks. "I know him for a long time. According to my birth chart, I have to find my life partner before this upcoming full moon day. Or else the worst things will start to happen to me. Yesterday when I was talking to him, he said he had found my life partner. After finishing my responsibility, I should help my life partner to get lead him in his life. Now he is no more and, how am I going to find him?" she lamented about him. I didn't know what to say to her either Covi know. We walked until we reached another fortune-teller's house.
BETHANY POV
I laughed in my mind as soon as I heard the fortune-teller's death. I tried to control my expression as it will make the rest of them doubt me. When we reached another fortune-teller's house, I was happy as something I planned is going to happen. We entered the house one by one.
COVINGTON POV
When we are all in the house, I toured the house. There were many pictures hung on the wall. "From these pictures, I could tell this fortune-teller is a lady. What you think?" Sam asked me. Before I could answer, a voice spoke. "You are right! What should I call you? Samuel or Peres?" the lady spoked jovially. "Samuel is me. Can I know who is this Peres guy?" Sam answered jovially too. "Let me explain. Before that, can you explain to me about the dream you had last night?" She asked out of the blue and, I stood there frozen. "What dream you guys talking about?" Bethany asked her with furrowed eyebrows. The lady smirked and walked in her direction. "Oh honey, don't you know things can get out of hand sometimes? Mainly, you can't control them if it does. So stay quiet in your place, and I will give you a chance to talk. Okay?" The lady stopped and looked at me. I explained to her what I saw in my dream. "That's something you don't know before. Is there anything you want to know?" she asked me. I thought a while and said, "I want to know about Sophia." As soon as I said that, the lady laughed out loud. "Just that all? I thought you are a person who uses chances well. Now I know why did you die."
ALEXIA POV
The lady mocked Win for asking a useless question. Then she moved towards me. "You tell me, darling. Do you believe me now? Yesterday you were in a bad mood, so you ignored me. See now what happened. Anyways, do you have anything to ask or say?" The lady asked me. "I want to know who is my life partner is. I don't want to ruin my life by doing nothing in my life. If that's the least I can do for myself, I will do it. No matter what." I said. She nodded and moved from me.
THIRD PERSON POV
The fortune-teller questioned everyone and decided to give them what they want. Bethany was struggling as things went out of control. She and her master have prepared a fake fortune-teller to fool the others. But, the tables have turned now. Somehow the fake fortune-teller didn't make it to the house and, an unfamiliarly familiar lady showed up and shook things up and down. Everyone was ready to hear from the lady while Bethany stood silent in the corner of the room. Samuel once again got suspicious of Bethany for her behavior. The truth is, she knew everything about her friends, and she knew what was coming.
SAMUEL POV
The lady finished questioned us and settled herself on the couch. "Listen to me everyone, I don't like beating around the bush. So let me get to the point. Among your four, there is one person who knows about your past lives. That person is the reason why you all experienced hell in your past life. Until you all discover yourselves and find a solution for the problem, you guys will keep reincarnating. I'm not sure whether you all will meet again if born again. But, You can't stop the cycle if you don't find it. What you need to do is find it for yourself. If any problem comes to light, I will show up to help. So you don't have to worry about it."
THIRD PERSON POV
The next thing that came out of the lady's mouth made everyone shock, except BETHANY.
