SAMUEL POV
I felt a bad feeling about that. At that moment, I saw a figure coming in through the window. It was Bethany. "How did she know to fight? Where did she learn it? In a blink of an eye, she knocked down everyone in the room except the one holding the long knife. "Step back, young lady. I'm pretty sure you don't want to ruin your pretty face. I came here to get something that belongs to my owner. Give that to me, and I will leave quietly." he said while kept the knife inside. Bethany looked confused and moved closer to me. "What you have in your backpack? Give it to me!" she said while she snatched my bag away from me. I secured it back and said, "I have nothing in it. If I do, why do you care? This thing is not your owner's belonging. If it does, bring me to your owner. I want to meet the person." The man pulled out his knife again. "Look, no violence in here. You want the thing inside my bag. I want to meet the owner of the item in my bag. If you can't bring me to the person, I'm not giving it to you. Definitely not. You may leave now." I said. The man glared at me and said, "I am not allowed to bring strangers to my boss. If I do, that will be my last moment. Please give me the thing. Or else I have to use violence against you. The option depends on your action. Which one do you prefer?" he said and pulled out his knife again, but this time I was saved by a stranger. It's a lady, and I have never seen her before.
"Are you okay? Are you hurt?" Lexi asked me with concern. I shooked my head and said, "they are after the rubies. We have to guard it so that no one can take it. We still don't know when Godwin will return. Until then, we have to keep it safe. As soon as I said that, Bethany crossed my way. "Rubies? Are these from the crime scene? Why do you have it? Give it to me, Sam." I hid it behind me and said, "I'm not giving it to you until Godwin comes back. Also, stay away from this! Don't you dare to ruin our plans!" I said. I saw the anger rise in her. She made her hand into a fist but didn't do anything. She just left the place. Then I looked at the strange lady. "Hmm, Lexi, who is this?" I asked her while pointing at the lady. "She is a fortune-teller. She was the one who introduced me to the other fortune-teller. While we were having a conversation, she said, you are in danger. So we came to help you. By the way, when Bethany came here?" she asked. "She came in a few moments you both came. Bethany saved my life also." I said. The lady came in front of me and said, "be careful with your sister. She might be the one who saved you today, but she will kill you one day for her Master's sake. She is not a good one. Either in her previous life or now. You both wait a little longer. Godwin will return to you both with enough information. Until then, you both stay together. Anyways, you both are siblings. So no problem will come. I'm leaving Alexia." she said and left. We both stood there silently.
ALEXIA POV
I remembered now. That lady said, Sam is someone who I should take care of. I looked at Sam and said, "Last night I had a dream. I went to her place to tell her about it. There, she said, you are someone I should take care of for the sake of my Prince. I also have found who the Prince is. It is Godwin. He is my life partner. I have to stay with him to help him to complete his mission." As soon as I said that, he sat down on the couch with disbelief. "Does that mean I died to save you and Godwin? Do I have to die again to unite you both? What do you think about me?" He was joking, I know. "But who is the Master? Why he needs the rubies? What connection between him and us? What's the role of Bethany? Is she someone sent by the Master? If she is, won't she kill us for the sake of the Master?" I asked him. He looked up at me and said, " Bethany might kill you and Godwin. But she won't kill me. The moment she knew I was in danger, she came to save me. She will save me, no matter what. Don't confuse yourself. Also, don't tell this to Godwin. He will worry a lot. I'm going out to get some fresh air. See you later." He left the house, wearing his brown jacket.
BETHANY POV
I was disappointed with Samuel. He humiliated me in front of a third person. I went straight to the mountain to meet the Master. On my way there, someone blocked my way. I looked up and saw a lady. She was the one who came with Alexia just now. "Where are you going at this speed?" she asked. "None of your business, miss. Move out of my way." I said and tried to move forward. "Don't you think it's a bit earlier to meet your Master?" she said. "I said it's none of your business!" I yelled at her. "Okay, cool." she moved out of my way. I moved ahead. "Are you going to meet your Master regarding the incident today? If it's true, please stop on your track. He is not going to answer you. If you think he will feel guilty about his doings, I'm telling you now he won't. Stop working for him and stay with your brother. He will be in danger anytime because of your Master. I'm just giving you advice. Use it well." With that, she disappeared from the place. I stood there silently and started thinking.
