Seol POV
I slammed my hand on the table. "Dad! Am I not worthy enough for you? I have trained for 10 years. I know how to lead!" I paced back and forth growling.
My dad had his eyes closed. He did not say a word. He stayed silent.
"My cousin Bang Chan is a general. We started off together, I worked my ass off in the Marine. Now I am suitable for Captain. I want to lead NOW," I snarled.
My dad sighed not reacting. A few seconds later, he opened his eyes. "You are not going to lead a team in the NAVY. We are in war. You have zero experience in a battle. Absolute no experience," he spoke firmly.
I whined in objection, " But you never let me because of what happened to mom..."
He roared cutting me off, "As a FATHER! I was protecting my child and only family!" he sighed as if he was controlling his temper.
I looked up at him sadly.
His eyes softened at my reaction, "Being stubborn like your mother, (sigh) I can't stop you any longer from actual combat. If you successfully survive 5 years in Team Alpha, I will put you in charge of the Special Force."
My eyes glowed eagerly as I saluted my father. "I received the order, sir!" He saluted back and excused me.
When I walked out of the room, I saw a guy maybe a year or two older than I am leaning against the wall. He saluted me as I saluted back.
"Soldier?" he said softly.
"Sir?" I replied with respect.
"I am your mentor, Captain Hwang Hyunjin. Now, you are to listen to my orders and solely mine," he said coldly as his eyes inspected me.
"YES SIR!" I replied.
"You are not to engage in battles... You are not to interupt me.... You are not to go against orders... Do you understand?" I looked at him as if he was crazy.
"I do not understand sir!" I questioned him.
"From my point of view, you are a fool who have never even seen any blood," he retorted sharply, "You won't be able to handle the violence y..." he continued.
"WAIT." I cut him off as he furrowed his eyebrows at me. "Captain Hwang Hyunjin. I think you have misunderstood me here. I am equal rank to you and you are just helping me to settle in and gain experience for 5 years. So later, I, who will be your superior general, will know what is going on. And anyways, you don't know what I am capable of... Who are you to judge me?"
He looked stunned at my speech. Maybe he thought I was a soft shy girly girl who can't handle some toughness. Then he grinned at me.
"You cut me off..." he beamed, "SO continuing with what I was saying... If you gain the respect and trust from me with your actions, soldier, you will be able to engage in the missions." he bent down and faced me.
I glared at him fiercely. "Yes sir!"
Then he turned and motioned me to follow. I sighed being embarrassed at my impatient actions.

Hyunjin POV
I smirked at her personality. I was ease dropping on the conversation of her and her father and was trying get a reaction out of her...
'This might be better for the team. Adding a little spice.'
My wolf growled approvingly.
'She is fierce even though she is only 16. When she shifts, she will definitely be stronger.'
'I agree, Jun.' I spoke to him through my mind.
I felt her looking at me with curiosity while I grinned at her looking at her from the corner of my eyes.
