It took Jade a few moments to register where she was when she woke up the next morning. When she turned over in her bed, she saw Perrie still sleeping in the other bed on the opposite side of the room. After she’d read Perrie the letter that was the last one before the nine month gap, they’d sat together in silence for a long stretch of time. She’d rested her head on Perrie’s shoulder, and Perrie had kissed her hand. Once they both started yawning though, Jade had headed back to her own bed, but not before Perrie had kissed the top of her head.
