Leigh-Anne and Ally arrived at Jade’s apartment the following afternoon. She let them in, hugging Ally and awkwardly smiling at Leigh-Anne until her best friend allowed her to hug her. She knew that physical contact was still something that Leigh-Anne struggled with, but she made amazing strides in the years that they had been friends. When they made their way into the living room before Leigh-Anne started looking around corners, snooping, obviously looking for something.
