Louis dwells on accompanying Lissie. His mind is not at peace given what happened earlier in the morning. Louis didn't want him out of his sight, it makes him anxious each time he’s thinking of her.
A small chuckle comes out her lips. Lissie reassured him, “Relax, Louis. I'm fine, okay? No goons will randomly show up to ruin my day again.”
“You're not sure, Lissie. You can't just disregard this thing. Being with Colton Vistagra isn't safe.” He said with his warmth voice with a little touch of warning. “How about I'll handle your grandma's death? Just go back and—”
Lissie didn't let Louis finish. “This is my own affair, Louis. I appreciate your help but I suggest you focus on yours and I'll do the same thing.” Lissie affirmed, showing him her huge smile.
A tense situation inclined the two. He clearly doesn't understand the bond Lissie shared with her grandma. Loraine Jones loved Lissie all her life. She was the one who raised her, and taught her many things in life. All the wisdom Lissie took came from Loraine.
When Loraine was still alive, she poured her love for Lissie that she managed to get her granddaughter to marry Colton— ensuring Lissie's future as well as her safety. However, Loraine didn't anticipate all the drama that followed.

The Director’s office made her astounded. The bricks on the wall enhanced the beauty of his office. Indeed, the interior design was great. Her eyes fixated at the person across him, the current director of the hospital— Director John Dream.
“I can't give you the thing you wanted, Lissie. I'm sorry. It needs the chairman's approval.” He affirmed, with a tone of disbelief, and tranquility.
Lissie’s eyebrow arched. “Really? Do you have the chairman's number? I'll try to persuade and talk to him. Maybe he could at least give me a chance?”
“Even if you call Mr. Colton Vistagra, he won't agree to what you want. I'm sorry Miss Jones but this is one of the hospital rules everyone should abide by.” The director seemed helpless. He can't do anything for me.
However, his claims caught my attention. “Colton Vistagra is now the chairman?” Disbelief reflected in my eyes as I reckoned Colton had no interest in this hospital.
Something is fishy!
Lissie’s eyebrows arched. How come Vistagra owns this hospital already? Lissie remembered that the Vistagras doesn't own this yet when her grandma Loraine is still a patient. Her mind were cloud with thoughts, wondering how did the Vistagra acquired a f*****g hospital.
“You should consider going back to Southfolk City. It's safer there than here.” Louis Brown affirmed, giving Lissie an idea.
“Now you feel that something is off too?”
Louis’ special skills is the skill he developed throughout the years and it's his sense to seek for oddities. Colton Vistagra knew about Loraine's importance in Lissie's life. Within those years she's absent, nothing made Lissie come back, not even the engagement news about Colton and Andy breaking up. The sole reason why she's here was because of the abrupt death of the old lady. The news broke her into tears. Lissie knew this isn't just a mere coincidence!
“Do you think Colton set up everything on purpose? You know him, Lissie. He's a very cunning man.” He affirmed in his warning tone.
Cloud of thoughts eloped in his mind. However, Louis’ called kept calling his phone number but he's not even answering. Annoyance flashed in his face as he hoisted his hand— washing everything all at once. Lissie took a quick glance at the caller, and she found out it was Colton's secretary.
“Yeah. No, no, I understand.” He affirmed.
Louis took his eyes on me. After Louis hung up his phone, those stares didn't leave me anymore. “There's an emergency I had to attend to. Go back to Enclaves Harbor. Wait for me, okay?”
Lissie took a deep breath. A driver picked Louis up and the keys of the sleek Mercedes-Benz are now in her hands.
Lissie had other plans. Another setback drew on her mind. Instead of coming home straight at Enclaves Harbor, Lissie went elsewhere.
A tall building bestows upon her. She's now standing at the 50th storey building across from her with a statement of company's name stated above the bux.
Her stunning entrance astounded the public. Some people are ogling at her. Who wouldn't give attention to the famous fashion designer, a successful business woman, and a beauty?
“Good morning, ma'am.” Some employees greeted her.
A sweet smile flashed on her face. “Morning.”
Lissie directly went upstairs, straight to where the person he wanted to see was. Catching sight of the chairman's humble office, a figure of his secretary Homer, approached her with a serious face.
“Morning, ma'am.”
My eyebrows arched, and didn't grow back. “Did Colton here? I need to talk to him now.” She demanded with a stern voice, and expressions.
“I’ll let him know. Please stay here a little while.”
Within a minute, Homer comes inside, and comes outside. It didn't take him a few minutes. She thought he's the only person coming out the office, yet she was flabbergasted to see Andy Moore behind with bloodshot eyes straight landing to her.
“Why do you always keep a smuggling face, Lissie?” Andy noticed, raising her oke eyebrow.
A precious smile comes out her lips. “Unlike you, I'm so proud of myself, Andy.”
Lissie always slayed with or without make-up. She has always the angelic aura, the dazzling smile, and the fighting spirit every looked up to. Ever since she became a fashion icon, many people looked up to her especially when she revealed herself unlike Andy, she has the face of a black horse. Her features scream a protagonist in the story, ruining everything.
“If you don't mind, can I come inside? You're blocking my way.” She affirmed in a very nice way.
Andy nibbled her lower lip. People are ogling, and staring at her. Forced to put her pride down and save herself from shame, Andy forced a smile before paving a way for Lissie.
A sly smirk of completion crept in her lips. She thought Andy Moore would find out, turns out, she's afraid too for what others might say once she revealed her true colors.
