Dimitri’s POV
I was smiling like an i***t ever since I woke up next to my mate. I had this grin on my face and nothing could wipe it away. I was over the f*****g moon happy.
I fell asleep in her room by accident. We were talking about the legend and she fell asleep while I was talking about the details of the war. Her head fell on my shoulder and I almost melted into a useless puddle. I promised myself that I would stay only a few minutes. I ran my fingers through her silky hair and placed a soft kiss on her forehead. The taste of her skin had me seeing stars. I took a deep breath of her wonderful scent and before I knew it I fell asleep next to her. At one point during the night, I wrapped her up in my arms.
