Danny's heart skipped a beat, and he collapsed to the ground. After years in politics, he never expected that he would completely ruin his career because of his foolish son!
In the crowd, someone asked, "Why didn't the mayor deal with Josh and instead end up hitting his son?"
Alani explained, "It must be because the mayor is strict with his son. As a high-ranking official, he's especially concerned about his reputation!"
Everyone nodded, not realizing that what the mayor truly feared was the fool standing right in front of them.
After this incident, everyone left the Golden Estate.
Back in their rented apartment, Lizzie said seriously to Josh, "Honey, I want to take out a loan and restart the company."
"I agree," Josh said, pulling out a black card. "Use this card for now. There's no need to take out a loan."
Seeing the black card, Lizzie's eyes widened with surprise. "A black card! Honey, where did you get this?"
"From a friend," Josh said casually.
"Forget it. We owe too many favors, and we can't repay something as valuable as this black card." Lizzie hesitated but still refused. It was easy to pay back money, but it was hard to repay favors.
Josh said, "Alright then. I'll go with you to handle the loan."
They arrived at the Wells Bank and walked in.
"Mrs. Parker, this way, please," said a young, inexperienced clerk who recognized Lizzie. Lizzie was on the bank's blacklist because of her bankruptcy.
Lizzie said, "We're here to apply for a loan."
"No problem," the clerk said warmly. Lizzie felt a bit of warmth in her heart. In the past, when she came to the bank, everyone gave her a cold shoulder.
"Willie!" At that moment, a furious shout came.
A figure rushed over, glanced at Josh, and angrily scolded the clerk, "Willie, are you nuts? We're a bank, not a place to do charity. We don't serve the poor. If it happens again, you're out!"
The person was the bank manager, named Ahmad Hess. Wells Bank was invested by the Crawford family and Alani had previously instructed that Josh and Lizzie should not be granted a loan.
Willie shuddered, lowered his head, and remained silent.
"Mr. Hess, are you saying we can't even get a loan? Are you pushing us to the edge?" Lizzie's eyes were filled with tears. Just as things were starting to look up, she was hit with another setback.
"Loans are possible, but not for you! Even if God himself were here today, Wells Bank would never give you a single cent!" Ahmad's expression was full of disdain as he waved his hand to call security, planing to kick them out.
Several uniformed security guards rushed over, trying to forcefully remove the two.
Bang! Bang!
Josh took down the security guards with a punch each. Then, he pulled out a black card from his pocket. "Even if God came, you wouldn't lend? Now, I want you to take out 2 million dollars and bring it to me personally!"
"Bullshit!" Ahmad yelled, but when he saw the black card in Josh's hand, his voice trailed off.
"A black card? This is impossible! How could you steal the black card from Mr. Rocha?"
Lizzie explained, "A friend gave it to us, not stolen."
Upon hearing this, Ahmad burst into laughter. "Are you trying to tell me your friend is the richest guy in the city? Then I might as well say that Evoque's director is my brother!"
Josh sneered, "Director of Evoque wouldn't be brothers with an id**t like you."
"You've gotten into big trouble!" Ahmad sneered, "I'm sending you to the police station now. Whatever issues you have, deal with the police!" With that, Ahmad dialed the police station.
Lizzie looked anxious. "Honey, what do we do?"
Josh glanced at Ahmad and said, "Don't worry, dear. The one in trouble is him."
The police car arrived, and Josh and Lizzie were taken away.
Ahmad immediately reported the situation to Alani. When she received the news, she jumped up, her face mask falling off halfway due to her excitement. "How dare they steal the black card. I must tell Grandpa about this."

In the president's office at Wells Bank, Kamdyn Reynold, the President of the Bank, was enjoying fondling with his secretary's round bottom.
Ding-ding. The phone rang, spoiling the Kamdyn's mood. He frowned in displeasure.
When he saw the caller ID, he immediately pushed the secretary away and answered respectfully, "Mr. Rocha, what can I do for you?" Kamdyn was nervous. In the past, he didn't have the status to meet the richest man, but now he was calling personally.
"There's a man and a woman there applying for a loan. The man's name is Josh Parker. Treat them well. If you handle this well, you can be promoted to the deputy chief in the headquarters. If you mess this up, don't bother being a bank president anymore!" WIth that, he hung up.
Kamdyn's eyes lit up, and he hurriedly put on his clothes. Moments later, he arrived at Wells Bank.
Seeing Ahmad there, he immediately ordered, "Ahmad, Mr. Rocha just called. A man and a woman will be here for a loan. Treat them well! If you do, the position of bank president will be yours!"
Kamdyn was in high spirits, already envisioning himself as the deputy chief.
Hearing about the chance of promotion, Ahmad's eyes brightened. He quickly promised, "Don't worry, Mr. Reynold. I'll personally attend to our guests and won't make any mistakes!"
"Oh, right!" Ahmad boasted, "Mr. Reynold, Lizzie and her husband came for a loan. I found that they had stolen Mr. Rocha's black card. I've already sent them to the police station."
"Good job. Lizzie doesn't have any money, so there is no need to lend to them." However, Kamdyn suddenly realized something and asked, "What did you say? Mr. Rocha's black card?"
"Yes, it was taken out by Lizzie's id*ot husband," Ahmad said quietly.
Kamdyn's heart sank. He asked anxiously, "What's Lizzie's husband's name?"
"Josh Pa-" Before Ahmad could finish, Kamdyn slapped him across the face.
"If it wasn't given by Mr. Rocha, who else would have the chance to steal it? Now, call the police station and get them back. If you've angered them, I'll kill you!"
Kamdyn's words snapped Ahmad back to reality. Ahmad broke into a cold sweat and nervously dialed the police station.
Moments later, the police car returned.
"Mr. and Mrs. Parker, it was our mistake," Kamdyn apologized, bowing his head. "Rest assured, I'll unfreeze your company account upon returning. We'll also provide you with 2 million dollars in startup funds for free. How does that sound?"
The sudden good news left Lizzie stunned. She looked at Josh, feeling like everything was unreal.
Josh didn't respond. He glanced coldly at Ahmad and said, "Ahmad Hess, it seems the one who's really in trouble is you."
