Ace's POV
It has been three days of fighting now, and we are getting our butts kicked by these Rogues. The Rogues have never been able to beat us. How are they accomplishing this? Are they consulting witches or sorcerers? Alpha Samuel's troops are arriving tomorrow for backup. I am utterly exhausted after a night of slaying my enemies. My warriors are rotating shifts between fighting, sleeping, and being on watch duty. Nanook's paws are killing him with pain. The webbing between his toes ripped open and is bleeding, leaving a blood trail in his wake. Nanook limped back to basecamp and found some freshly killed elk to gnaw on. After he had his fill of meat, he checked in with his Beta Alex and Gamma Lauren. The attacks are becoming worse and more frequent during the night.
