Chapter 12 Run Away

1156 Words
Ace's POV I could sense a mind-link was coming through.  "Alpha, its Grace. I am bringing your Luna to the Library as we speak." "Perfect, thank you." I was ending a meeting with neighboring Alpha. We are planning our attack on the Rogues and trying to increase our number of warriors. Hanging up the phone, I started walking to the Library. Instead of walking in the front doors, I walked in the side door and stood behind one of the tall bookshelves. Silently I waited in the shadows until I heard Grace leave. Kaylee's sweet smell filled the whole Library. She looked so cute with her big black boots and long blond hair. When I was sure that we were alone, I walked out to surprise her. "Kaylee, it's me, Nanook." "I knew you would find me!" Kaylee ran and wrapped her arms around me. Lightning energy bolted through my body. Oh, how I had missed this feeling. Even though It had only been a day since I had last seen her.  Please understand that I need her with a passion. "I am supposed to marry the Alpha King tomorrow. Nanook, What are we going to do?" she cried. "Shhh, It's ok. I fight with the Alpha in his army. Maybe I can talk to him," I reassured her. Kaylee held my face with her hands, "Mark me now. Then the Alpha won't want me." With our bodies close together, I pushed her against the wall—my hands on her hips. A gasp escaped her mouth as I pressed my lips to hers. Her mouth opened slightly, and I took advantage of the opportunity and slid my tongue into her mouth. I had to taste her sweetness. We kissed deeply for several minutes before she had to come up for air. I could feel my eye turning green and Nanook surfacing. He almost marked her last night, but I stopped him. It was too early; the timing wasn't right. I did spy the library table. I thought about swiping the books off and mating with her right now. That would have to wait for another time. "Let's spend the day together," I suggested. "What about the King? Won't he want to meet me?" she asked.  "He is probably busy doing Alpha stuff. I'm sure he won't even notice."   Her voice cracked, "I don't want to marry the Alpha King. I only want to marry you."  She passed my test. "Then marry me, you shall." Pulling her in close to my chest, I kissed her again.  She pulled back with tears in her eyes, "But, how?"   Smiling, I answered her, "Runaway with me. I'll talk to the Alpha tonight." I grabbed her hand and started to pulled her out of the Library. "Come with me. I have a picnic planned for us in the woods." We began to walk out when she stopped me. "Wait, isn't the Alpha mean? People say he never smiles. I don't think I could be married to someone like that." Ouch, I'll have to make sure to change her mind. I love her with everything that I have. I would never intentionally be mean to her. My whole kingdom was hers. Sure I have fought my share of battles and taken no prisoners. Some would call me heartless. I did what I needed to do. Her eyes were red and stern. I wasn't sure what to say about her comment. "Sure, Alpha is tough because he has to be. He's never been the same since his father died. It's a lot of responsibility for him to run the kingdom. Enough talking about him, let's go eat lunch." Kaylee's POV Grace walked me to the Library. After we walked in, she must have gotten a mind link from someone. "Excuse me for a moment," she said and walked out, leaving me alone. I was still thinking about my wedding dress. All the diamonds in the world couldn't buy my love. Looking around, I could see that the Library was exquisite. Neat bookshelves from floor to ceiling. There was a long table in the center with piles of books on it. Private reading nooks were scattered throughout. This Library was much more extensive than the one we had in Cambria Pines. A fantastic smell wafted through the air. I knew that forest vanilla smell; it was Nanook. When I turned around, I saw the same man from my dream. His left eye was brown with a hint of green and a black eye patch over the right eye.  Running to him, I fell in his arms. He smelled so good, and I couldn't help but return his kiss. How could I resist such a gorgeous man? My hands reached up and wrapped around his neck. Running my fingers through his soft jet black hair. Being pinned against the wall, I could feel his manhood under his pants. It made me want him more. I'm glad he was holding onto me because I thought I might pass out. My head wasn't thinking straight. He asked me to run away with him, and I was actually considering it. What would the Alpha do when he finds out? I had never met the Alpha, but I feared and respected him. None of that mattered now. Nanook was taking me away with him. We ran hand in hand out of the Library and into the garden. He picked up a pink blanket and a picnic basket on one of the garden benches. Then we took a walk out into the woods. He laid the blanket down on a small grassy area that was encircled with tall bushes. Surprisingly the basket was packed with all our favorite Chinese food. We sipped hot green tea as we discussed our future. Getting to know him better was so much fun. It felt like minutes even though we were talking for hours. "Love can last a lifetime if you want it to," was the saying in my fortune cookie. The sun was starting to set as we snuggled on the blanket. I knew that I had to go back to the Castle, but I needed more time with him. "Ten more minutes, then you can take me back," I pleaded. He looked at me with a huge smile on his face. His mouth is so perfect; I just had to kiss him again and again. Ever since we had our first kiss earlier, I was addicted. Exploring every inch of his mouth, I love the way he tasted. After our hot make-out session, hand in hand he walked me back to the Castle. Nanook walked me to my room, I turned to face him, "Are you going to go talk with the Alpha now?' "Yes, he said it's ok. You can marry me." "What, you haven't even talked to him yet?" I questioned. "My Sweetness, I am Ace, your Alpha King."
