Sean turned around slowly and instinctively positioned himself between Erin and the door. A familiar face awaited him.
"What are you—" Mel, the guard who’d trained Sean and Cooper, did not finish his question.
He stared at the two of them, his mouth agape, focusing on Sean first. Then, Mel leaned to the side to catch a glimpse of Erin.
"Well, this certainly is unexpected. I thought I picked up on a certain vibe between you two the other day. But here? In your boss's office?" That latter remark was clearly aimed at Erin.
