Chapter FourteenErin couldn’t help but feel weird as she arrived at the hospital just opposite her former workplace. She was a patient now. She would have never agreed to it normally. But Sean had been so concerned for her once he'd rescued her from that dingy old warehouse, that she didn't have the heart to argue with him.
So here she was, stuck in a room in the Accident & Emergency department, awaiting the results from the CAT scan they'd done on her soon after she'd been admitted.
So much had happened these past couple of days, she'd hardly had the time to reflect. Through the dull headache and occasional bouts of dizziness, her brain was still trying to play catch-up.
