Chapter FourBy the end of shift, Sean had even more doubts about the whole security guard thing. He'd been on stake-outs before, which was just about as boring as police work could get. Monitoring campus surveillance systems was worse, though. At least on a stake-out there was a chance you might catch a glimpse of something to help the case. The most interesting thing he and Cooper had seen all day was a lady tripping down some stairs and spilling coffee on herself. At the same time, he'd kept thinking about Erin, almost obsessively, and he still didn't know how best to approach her. Either way, Sean was grateful to get out of there. They marched through the neatly kept parking lot toward the vehicle they'd rented after arriving in town when Cooper's phone rang. "Hello?" he answered.
