“I need to see Eve! Or at least give her a cell phone so we could talk!” I snarl, tears of fury accumulating in my eyes.
“Then what? Plan how you could escape again?” Dad shoots back nonchalantly.
I grunt. “What’s my guarantee that she will remain alive if I marry Maegan?”
“Ah-ah, correction,” Dad begins, wagging his finger at me. “She has to die to free you from her spell after she gives birth. I only agree to let your child live, remember?”
