Chapter 48 - Keep Her Safe

310 Words
Connie was sitting on a bench and waited for Theo to arrive. She was wearing a yellow tank top with checkered skirt. She was waiting for him too late on the said time.  "You're here." Theo arrived and saw her looking down on the ground.  "Yes. I wanted to talk to you. I wanted to break up with you." She looked at his eyes crying. "You don't deserve me, Theo." "Okay, fine. Let's make a deal with it."  He left her crying there on a bench. She was running on the road and there, before a car almost collided with her but she collapsed. The crowd went to see how it was difficult for her to breathe.  "I can't breathe." She was gasping for air but there was nothing.  At that time, Nancy's hands were shaking on her lap. Her mouth was trembling with fear.  "Miss, please get out of your car." A man was being nice with Connie. He carried her to the clean ground and tried calming her. "Just relax, Miss." Theo heard the noise of the crowd and went to see what was happening. His body began shaking as he was silently close to the accident. He saw Nancy's hands shaking in front of her. She was not able to look at the body lying on the ground.  Theo knocked on the car's window. She opened it and asked him trembling, "Did I hurt her? She's okay, right?"  "Yes. She'll be okay."  They went to the hospital to see her after an accident. She went on the counter to pay Connie's bill.  Theo walked around her bed. She was laid on her bed carefully.  "The patient will become conscious after five hours." The dotor went out and the nurse accompanied them.  "What's her problem?" "She have an anemia and good thing that she was brought here early."
