Since that day, she remembered all the things happened when she was a kid. Erina was walking to the aisle of flowers at the rooftop garden. It felt like, she wanted to stay here for a long time.
"Hi." Gavin was seriously staring at the sky.
"Hello." Her body was reacting to his presence. She immediately paused and stared at him.
"You really look nice." Morpheus appeared at her back. He put his hand on her shoulder and smiled.
Gavin was a bit annoyed at what he was doing. He seemed like he was flirting her for his own sake.
"Nothing." He was grumpy when he stepped forward to get close. It was his style. He was hiding his feeling to deceive him but Morpheus was really a smart kid. He didn't fell for it and also, he remained conscious after that.
Gavin walked out and looked back for Erina. He knew that Morpheus was aggressive sometimes. He wanted Erina to be protected. Her eyes were looking down when she smelled a familiar thing. It was like a smell of roses and water. She wished that she could get back her tail and save her family.
Gavin's eyes were sincerely grabbing her attention. "What are you thinking?"
"Nothing." She walked away from him but he chased her.
"Just tell me what's happening." He was encouraging her to tell her problem. She stopped walking away and followed her. She stopped her teary eyes and looked down. He was caressing her cheeks and said, "Just tell me. You can trust me."
She gave him a hug and cried a lot. Her heart was full of resentment and guilt. She was having fun for a long time but never do something for her family and her their kingdom. She wanted her tail back to save them. They were waiting for her, especially her family.
They went to the ocean and she waited for that witch to help her. She wanted everything to go normal and free from evil. They waited for a long time there, sitting on the blanket. The waves of the ocean was her only hope to keep herself calm.
She was exhausted and there she noticed Gavin, sleeping on her right shoulder. She was unconsciously kissed him on his head that made him felt happy. His tiredness disappeared when she did that. He pretended that he was asleep and perhaps, tease her tomorrow.
The night was ended. People gathered around Erina and Gavin this morning. It was fresh air that made them feel cold. When they opened their eyes, they saw few people watching them. They cleaned themselves and greeted them.
"This kids are so aggressive." They heard from an old woman.
"You're mistaken. We're siblings." Gavin was smiling at them and he heard a teenage girl.
"He's cute. Can he be my boyfriend?" The teenage girl was talkative that was why her mother told her, "You're just sixteen and yet, that's what you're thinking? Just study first and be married after. Let's go home."
The mother grabbed the wrist of the teenage girl and before they leave, she winked at Gavin who was staring at them. She smirked at her and rolled his eyes. The teenage girl pouted like a child and he chose to look away from her. He met Erina's eyes and smiled wryly.
"She's just a kid."
"Then, be with her." Erina was teasing him and he have an idea to tease her back.
"Do you know what I dreamed about last night?" He moved fast to follow her. They stopped walking and he saw how her face blushed with pink tint.
"I don't know that. It was just a dream." She closed her eyes and started walking. She didn't see the big rock in front of her and accidentally, she moved unbalanced. He caught her waist and turned her body to his chest. Her left hand was closed and the other was on his chest.
Their hearts were moved and rapidly beat for each other. Her knees became shaky and she looked away. "Just let me go." He let her go and dropped her on the sand.
"Ouch!" Her butt was in pain. "My butt."
"I'm sorry." He helped her to stand and her face looked red.
"Just leave me alone." She was embarrassed at the few people who saw her like that. She was thinking about them laughing at her.
"I'm sorry, Erina. Really sorry." He chased her and teased her. "Did you know that I dreamed about someone who kissed my head?"
