"So, let me tell you that our quiz would be tomorrow." Their art teacher ended the class early for the meeting of the faculty. She almost ran after locking the classroom door. Their head teacher was stern leader for their department.
"Mr. Alvarez, let me be the one who will present the different clubs of this school." Mr. Harry Alcantara confidently crossed his arms on his seat while his co - teachers were waiting for the meeting adjourned.
"Tell me, why would I?" Mr. Alvarez was realy a cold person. His colleagues were afraid of him because he was perfectionist in everything he was doing. Mr. Harry didn't explain for his side.
He openly turned into such human machine. He was too nervous inside him after having some clarity about the next event for the students.
"It's beacause our community wants something special. Showcasing the students' talents could boost their energies and confidence within themselves." He was trusting himself and waited for the final result.
Mr. Alvarez got up on his chair. His hair was beautifully brushed up, his eyeglasses was only a prop to entice some girls around him. "Good. Okay, just be in charge in the whole event."
"Thank you, Sir. Much appreciated on what we have already talked about."
"Okay, meeting adjourned."
They all left the hall for their time for work. A student wemt to their classroom and announced about the school event. Few of them were not excited for they knew what would happen. The top students would be there for competitions and some of the students were excited because they would be skipping the class.
"What's happening here?" Mr. Harry Alcantara dropped his attendance sheet on the teacher's table and the student went back to his chair. "We'll be having some competitions for you. May be, some of you aren't interested but I'll give extra incentives for their grades if all of you will participate in the said event."
The students groaned in pain. "Well, this is a part of your experience to grow and to be creative about your skills and talents."
A student raised his hand. "How about those who aren't interested?"
"Good question. He or she would clean the classroom everyday and who'll ever he or she be, lucky for them." They made a noise of complaints but nothing more when Mr. Harry stopped them.
"Enjoy your youth or else you'll regret it."
The class started after he wrote on the black board. He started to be stern with something superiority on his tone and posture. The students were looking up on him highly.
The class was over when Lily went out. Erina, Riza and Rossana were eating their lunches at Erina's place.
"What's going on with Lily?" Rossana was surely worried about her.
"I don't know. She's not talking about her problems with me." Riza took a bite of her sausage.
"Me neither." Erina stopped smiling when she saw Morpehus walking to them.
"May I join you?" He brought his lunch box and opened it in front of Riza.
"Oh, my! It's sushi and noodles." She blinked her eyes beautifully at him.
"We can share our food." He made a small laugh with a grin towards Erina.
Rossana saw how he was amused with Erina's beauty. Perhaps, she would stop herself from liking him. Anyway, she would never make him fall in love with her. Although, she was trying secretly, she couldn't. She was loving him from afar. She was contented of what he was doing and who was with him.
"Rossana, just enjoy your lunch." He was trying to make himself fit with the girls. Rossana made a little smile and started eating again.
Riza was making some jokes and stories that would make them laugh. Ever since the day, she was with Rossana and Lily, she was the most problematic person they would ever knew. She was insecure about herself for she knew that she would never be loke other good-looking girls. She was ashamed of being fat but never showed it to someone else.
Lily was walking alone at the calm street when a guy showed himself in front of him.
"It's you." The guy was wearing a uniform different from hers. His left eye was blue and the other was hazel eye.
Her heart was skipping a beat when he met him again. After all these years, they met. She couldn't believe it with her own eyes. He pet her hair but she refused.
"Stop making my hair messy." She made a stern look but he whispered on her right ear instead.
"Just smile and make your day happy."
Her eyes went wide. She could feel his hot breaths on her ear. Her face reddened as he pulled his face away from her. He chuckled and pointed his finger at her face.
"Look, your blushing face is pretty."
She covered her face using her palms. "You're making me feel embarrassed."
"You're still you." He left a piece of paper and went behind her, walking away.
"Wait! What's your name?"
He looked back at her with a grin. "We're strangers like before and yet, you want to get to know me." He walk forward until he reached his hands. "I'm Sebastian."
She was amused at his face. He looked perfect with a clean cut hairstyle. His height was about three inches higher than her. He grabbed her hand gently and said, "I'm Sebastian. Nice meeting you again."
"I-I'm..."
"Lily. I always knew." He let go of her hand, still smiling and waved a good-bye.
"You always knew..." She left stunned at her place with a calm look.
Sebastian left her with a grin on his face. She didn't know how mich he used to be at the playground after meeting the weak girl. He always knew how she waited for him there, rain or shine. He was thinking of her and wishing her well.
"Young master, where did you go?" His butler was worried about him.
"I just met a long time friend."
The butler knew that he met the girl again that was why he was grinning like that. He was grateful to that girl because she made the young master become inspired in everything. He witnessed how he looked after the girl secretly.
"Young master, we'll head back home. Madam is waiting for you." The butler drove the car and smiled while watching how the young master grinned.
Lily got home with a pack of noodles to cook. She put out a piece of paper and there was something in it, a paper heart with a name written on it. Sebastian.
"So, he wanted me to know his name?" She gasped slightly and scrolled her f*******: account. There his account was. Sebastian Lucas.
Lily wanted to him more often and be with him all the time.
"No. This wrong. This feeling is wrong." She started to cry a little and sobbed silently.
Sebastian was having his shower when he notice someone entered his room.
"Sebastian, have you eaten your dinner?"
"Not yet, mom!" He put the shampoo on his hair and brushed it gently. He stopped for awhile and think of her amused look at him. He was grinning secretly and did wash his body.
"So, how's your day?" His mother was giving him food on his plate.
"It was fun having some new found friends."
"Just make yourself chill when it comes to srudying. You don't have to put extra effort because it will make you get tired."
His mood became least happy. "Mom, I know that you're worrying but there's nothing to worry about. I'm healed."
"But -" Her words were stopped by him.
"No more buts, Mom. I'm sure I'll be okay." He grinned when he thought of Lily. Het short hair made her look young, fresh and cool. He couldn't forget her face.
"Wait. i smell something fishy. Are you in love?" Her mother's browd met.
"Probably, no. I'm just happy that you came home."
Her mother made a smile. "Thank you, my dear."
The whole night made Sebastian and Lily awake. She could tell how long she waited for his come back. Perhaps, it was their destiny to meet again.
Sebastian made some paper hearts on his study table. A knock on the door made him hid the papers.
"Here's your night snacks and milk." He just smiled and her mother kissed his forehead. "Have enoigh sleep for your exams tomorrow. Good luck!"
"Thank you, Mom." His focus went back on the paper hearts and made a letter for her. Just like her, he wanted to see her more often. He wanted to be with her even just for a day.
His life had never been easy. His butler would make everything just to watch over him everyday. He couldn't have freedom to make a day with her. One thing for sure, his mother wouldn't allow him to leave their mansion for this kind of reason. Yes, he was a mama's boy from the very start.
Lily was eating a small snack and drinking a can of beer. It was making her feel miserable every time she remembered how lowly her life was. She wanted to find her biological mother before she could graduate.
Sebastian's mother was standing at the balcony since she was thinking about her son's health. She was afraid of something that would make him weak. A call from her husband rang her phone.
"Yes, my love. He's fine and I'll do everything to make him safe."
