Chapter 28 - Wishing Well

477 Words
It was a gloomy day since Mochi went to school. The sky was turning dark because of the clouds which thickens. Then after a few minutes, the drops pf rain started to pour down to the ground. He was looking outside the window which the leaves of the trees were swaying with the wind.  Georgie was feeling unwell when her stomach started to be in pain. Her face almost turned white and her lips were turned to pale color. She was feeling dizzy with the scent of something smelly.  A student at her back noticed her silently in pain. Her head fell down on her desk and it was too late for Mochi to help her. "Georgie!"  She heard her classmates' voices and she was slightly conscious when someone carried her. Mochi was still scared of what was happening to her. He was not paying attention to the class for he was worried about her. He tried concentrating but he couldn't focus.  "Are you okay?" His classmate poked him.  "Not a little." His eyes were looking at his pen on his hand.  "Don't worry. She'll be okay." He tapped Mochi's shoulder which made him calm.  The rain was still pouring when the class ended. Georgie's eyes were swollen. Indeed, the pain of her stomach stopped for awhile. Mochi entered the room while the nurse went out for getting the medicine.  "Georgie." Mochi gave her a tap of her shoulder. "Let's go home together." She nodded and got up.  The road which they were seeing was soaked with rain water and the moist was making them smell something scent of ashes. Georgie pouted her lips while Mochi was looking after her.  "The nurse told me that you should not drink water with colors." He started to have a conversation with her. "Like, juice and softdrinks."  Georgie felt bad about hearing it from him. "I'll miss it."  "Perhaps, you can drink if after you heal." He was cheering her up and she smiled but she knew she would never drink that.  "I hope so."  The kettle was about to burst but good thing that Gavin switched off the stove. "Erina, what's happening to you?"  "I'm just sleepy." She got up from the couch and turned her face to Gavin. She set the table before Mochi entered the dining table.  "So, what happened to Georgie?" Gavin made a fruity juice for dinner.  "Her stomach is acidic."  "What?" Georgie stomped her feet as he walked forward on front of him.  "I can't tell lies."  Georgie rolled her eyes until their grandfather came back from his work at the restaurant. She put away herself from being close to Mochi. May be, she was too angry for him being not trustworthy.  Her eyes looked around and smelled the scent coming from his gel. She was trying to avoid his gaze but she couldn't.
