Chapter 27 - Shyly Waiting

The light coming from the sunrise lit Gavin's room. He slowly opened his eyes and there he saw Erina taking good care of him. She was wiping his face with a soaked towel. 

"Good morning, Gavin." She humbly smiled while she was wrining the towel. "Good thing that you're still alive. I thought you'll be dead." 

Gavin chuckled. He sat and smirked. "Do you think I'm a weak man?" 

Erina smiled wryly as she stopped wiping his face. 

"And please, stop this." He held her hand and closely did an eye contact with her. It was making his heart beats rapidly. He was thinking about getting crazy for her. 

Her eyes were really beautiful. He shook his head to force himself not to think something good about her face because if he did, he would fall for her deeply. He was trying to avoid the feelings growing inside him. He should take away himself from her side. 

Erina pulled her hand that made Gavin conscious. He looked at the ground while something in his memory popped up in his head. 

"Wait, Erina." He stopped her from walking away. 

She looked back at him with a puzzled look. 

"Have you been here yesterday?" 

Her face blushed when he questioned her. Was he thinking about the kiss she had given him? 

"Yes, why?" 

He thought of not saying it anymore because he saw it already on her face. It was confirmed. It happened. It was true. 

"Nothing. I want to say 'thank you'." He smiled back at her and watched her closing the door. 

Erina's knees and legs were trembling. Her hands almost dropped the basin with water but she carefully managed to handle it properly. 

She was taking her bath when she remembered the kiss. She shook her head and dropped herself in to the tub of water. She sokead herself there to relax and to be calm about that memory. 

Mochi and Georgie walked together going to the school. It was a sunny day that made Georgie's mood at its peak of happiness. 

"You're happy." Mochi seriously looked at her. She stopped walking while staring at him.

"Yes. I deserve it." Georgie started walkong a little far from him. His began to put a smile on his face too.
