They used the party poppers to celebrate the first day of the Student's Week event. The people were busy at the things they wanted to create the best physical designs to the eyes of the judges.  "Go! Team Red!" The girls were cheering up for the boys they wanted to win. "Go, Jamie!" Connie was cheering her best friend. She wasn't good at the sports and didn't understand it but she wanted to see her best friend win. So that, she was able to communicate with her. She was the only one she knew who would choose her.  Since they were kids, they bonded together within and outside their class. They go home together as their mothers were best friends too.  Connie's attention was caught by the girls at the gymnasium. The fight between red and blue team began increasing the tense. Theo was grabbed on his jersey shirt and fell down because of a foul. She went there immediately and checked for him.  "Ouch!" Theo was groaning in pain from his knees. Connie was watching him carried by his teammates.  She was worried so, she followed them at the infirmary.  "Just have some rest for two weeks." The physician told him and that made him upset. He wanted to join the team but here he was, suffering from the pain of being an athlete. It was the second time that he had injured himself from falling.  He heard a knock on the door. "Please, come in." He saw how Connie was worried about him but ignored his feelings. He didn't expect that he would develop a little feelings for her. He stopped looking at her eyes because it would make him fall more.  "I brought you some apples." She put it down to a small table beside his bed.  "Thank you. Just put it there." He didn't know what to tell when she sliced an apple into pieces. "I said, just put it there." He was uncomfortable for the feelings he knew that would tell he was liking her.  Connie's eyes widened. "I'm sorry. I'll just leave." Her wrist was pulled by Theo. She unconsciously put her fist on her chest and looked at him.  "Just stay here."  She sat beside him and stared at the door. She didn't know what to tell and then, the atmosphere began to feel calm. The wind from the window was making the thin curtain to dance with the trees outside. She was looking at the tree while he was staring at her.  The knock on the door made them apart from each other but he grabbed her inside the quilt.  His teammates gave him a high five and announced that they won. They were happy among themselves fpr making their goal achieved. Theo was worried about Connie. He was afraid of his teammates who would tease him about her.  Now, Connie's sweat fell down on her cheeks from her forehead when he pulled her to his side. She leaned on him and almost couldn't breathe. She was allowing him to bring her closer to him.  "Let's have a party tonight." Their captain was enthusiastic about the winning. "I'll treat all of you." He was confident to spend his money because his family was rich.  "How about me?" Theo's face became dim.  "It's alright. Let's go home and come in our house." He was boasting about their mansion actually, it wasn't the time he told them. There were many times he wanted to tell all over the school that they were rich.  The teammates gave a big high five and had a good time together.  Connie was nervous about what the captain said. She pinched Theo's stomach to give him a signal that he should make them go away but he never did. He was waiting for them to leave and of course, he was enjoyi g the moment that she was leaning at him.  After an hour, the nurse came to tell that he should rest at home. His teammates were cheering him up and they wanted to carry him but he refused.  "What's this?" He was pinching the soft part of Theo's side.  "That's nothing." He lied. He wanted to scream at them but he couldn't because he was valuong their friendship.  "Boys, let him rest peacefully. Could ypu please get out?" The nurse burst her anger towards them and their mouths were shut.  "See you later, Theo!" His captain waved his hand a good-bye.  Theo sighed and didn't let Connie to get out because of the nurse.  "Mr. Theo and Ms. Connie." The nurse told them to keep calm because she knew it. She was watching over there in her office.  Connie's hair went messed. The nurse was thinking about an scandal but she kept herself silent. "So, what's going on, Ms. Connie?"  She couldn't answer and tell the truth. Theo opened his mouth and answered, "It's a misunderstanding. You're mistaken." There he was, explaining the whole truth. Connie's face was blushing since she felt like being guarded and protected by him. She wanted to hear more and enjoy it. It was like a music to her ears that would make her body electrified.  Erina and her friends were watching the badminton play at the covered court. It was an interesting game that made them addicted about. When the next pair entered, they were disappointed. They saw Nancy and Delilah wearing their cropped top shirts and short skirts. They weren't comfortable at their garments that was why they left for a linch break.  "I think we should go back to our booth." Rossana opened up. She was starting to keep her mindset positive.  "What dish should we cook?" Riza brushed her face and looked at the fried chicken she was eating.  "Look, we need to have that title. We need to win." Lily uttered seeiously. Her eyes turned fierced as they were thinking about a recipe that would change the mood and vibes of their booth stall.  "What if we do a recipe that wasn't popular but tastes delicious?" Rossana made an idea. She was determined to do well in this part. She wanted to achieve something that would level up her confidence.  "We need to win but we need to enjoy ourselves before we burn down by our exams." Erina ignited the desire of her friends and made a high five. The students around them made them laughed because they looked at them with a questioning look.  "Just keep calm." Riza winked and gave a pretty smile.  Nancy was wiping her sweat when the boys were seeing her pretty face. She knew that they were looking for her. She bended her knees and tied the shoe lace on her right foot. The boys turned crazy over her especially, Theo. He was staring at her with his charming bad boy look.  Delilah nudged her side when she stood properly. "What're you going to do with that guy?" He was referring to Theo who was grinning.  Connie handed the payment for her lunch to the cashier and went to the place where Delilah and Nancy preferred to stay. Delilah's attention was on Theo's eyes and there she saw how he gazed at Connie walking near his place.  "Nancy, there's a problem."  "What?" Nancy accidentally met how Theo secretly looked at Connie who was eating her lunch in front of him. She felt hurt when someone took his attention. The truth was, aside from Zack, he liked Theo too. She couldn't set it aside because she knew that he felt the same.  Well, all things weren't turn to your side and wishes. Everything would be controlled as you were deciding for yourself.  She chose to see him secretly in the library like she did with Zack who was interested to her. Honestly, she couldn't tell him this because of his aggressiveness. She was afraid of being hurt physically and mentally.  Delilah saw how jelous she was. Nancy just stabbed the beef steak with a fork.  "Are you alright?" She was worried about her best friend.  "Yes. I'm fine. I'll just make her life like a hell." Her face turned grimace then, grinned secretly. She was really a scary monster who would chooze to stay the same and worst after all.  Nancy licked the fork while staring seductively at Theo but she couldn't get him because of Connie who was seriously cute when you notice her well.  Connie looked at her watch and put the tray of utensils at the counter. She accidentally dared to look at the thing that she felt like she was being watched. She discovered that Nancy was staring at her fiercely, like she wanted to grab her by any chance and strangled her neck.  She avoided their place and walked to the exit door. Nancy walked through that pace and simply watching behind her. Delilah ran after them and watched her best friend like a horror character in a movie. She felt that something was wrong and she would never let that to happen.  She grabbed Nancy's wrist and told her, "Just stop this."  "No, I neex to do this." She moved her wrist up and pulled it back to her.
