The whole day wasn't complete when Gavin was not around her side. She was sigjing every time she was thinking about him. She wanted to go home and to take care of him.
It was yesterday dawn when they found that he was bathing with his sweat. His body was a little bit chilled and yet, he was coughing lightly. He sneezed and covered himself with his blanket.
"Is he really okay?" She was thinking about his food for lunch or snacks. She went back to their house and made a full meal. She made sandwiches and a porridge.
She saw how he was chilling on his bed. "Here's your porridge."
He groaned. "I don't want to eat. It doesn't have any taste in my mouth if ever I eat."
"Please, you need this or even water."
"No."
She felt annoyed but patiently pleased him. "Let me take care of you."
"No, I don't want to. I can manage myself." He fell asleep when she was slightly slapping his face.
"Don't do this to me, please."
She went to their grandfather's small garden at the back of their house and picked some leaves and flowers. She was making a potion for his fever.
